Church Hall

Originally built for use as both Church and Hall the main space is about 58 feet by 30 feet (17.5 x 9 m) and is over 20feet (4m) high. It has a raised stage at one end and a small platform enclosed by a steel blind, originally the sanctuary of the Church, at the other. The small kitchen is to be replaced as part of our ongoing building project (BOFF). A wheelchair access ramp and a disabled toilet were added in the first phase of this project.

In addition to Church activities the Hall is used by a number of local organisations for Badminton, Keep-Fit, Line Dancing, Maths Training and Dog Training classes.

When not otherwise in use it is available for private bookings for similar activities including Meetings, Bazaars, daytime Children’s Parties, and Educational, Artistic or Sporting activities. Bookings are NOT accepted for Adult’s Parties, Receptions, Discos, Stage Performances, Religious Ceremonies, commercial Sales or Auctions.

The cost (as at October 2009) is £20 per hour for a minimum of 3 hours. In addition a deposit of £60 is required against charges for additional cleaning and damages.
